Relevant Experience

Since 2009 I have been the Media Director at 3LD Art and Technology Center, a critically acclaimed 12,500 square foot flexible theater space in New York City. My position at 3LD requires an in-depth knowledge of all projection technologies, throw distance/angle calculation, rigging, cabling and computer hardware/software solutions. I am responsible for the entire 3LD equipment inventory and oversee the technical requirements of every artistic residency and event in the facility. I periodically teach an advanced workshop in the show control software Isadora.

I am currently an adjunct Professor at Columbia University, teaching the class 'Multiplexing and Show Control for Multimedia Theater'.
I have lectured at Sarah Lawrence College as a guest artist and participated in various talkbacks as an associated member of Radiohole.

I also have an extensive working knowledge of most aspects of theatercraft and technology, including lighting, sound, rigging and basic carpentry.

In my capacity at 3LD I have collaborated with and/or assisted institutions, artists and groups including: Columbia University, Reid Farrington, Art New York, World Science Festival, Kurt Hentschläger / Future Perfect Festival, Vice Magazine, Intel, Bloomberg Link, DeMOS.

From 2001-2008 I was Senior Designer and Assistant Artistic Director at Studio Icon 2 in Rome, Italy. This position included work in 3D design and animation, visual effects, graphic design, web design, video editing and sound design.
